Who I Am
Originally from Poland, I have lived in the United Kingdom for over 20 years. I moved here in 2005, shortly after graduating with a Master’s degree in Tourism and Recreation. My career path evolved through various industries, including hospitality, distribution, logistics, and administration.
English has always been my passion. Over the years, I have earned several linguistic qualifications and certificates, including the Cambridge CPE, CELTA, Level 3 Certificate in Community Interpreting, Level 6 Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (Law), and Level 7 Diploma in Translation.
Since 2022, I have been working as a freelance interpreter and translator across a range of settings, including medical, legal, court, police, social services, and education, providing accurate and professional English–Polish language support.
I maintain high linguistic and cultural competence to ensure clarity and accuracy in all interpreting and translation assignments. I work effectively under pressure, adapting to diverse communication styles and emotional contexts. Likewise, I always uphold professional ethics, in line with the NRPSI Code of Conduct, and manage assignments independently, ensuring the timely delivery of translations and thorough preparation for interpreting sessions.
